LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

When buying Furniture from PVP Office Furniture you can feel confident knowing you’re protected from any defective materials or workmanship for the life of the product.

Our Furniture Manufacturer warrants it’s products to be free from defects in material and workmanship, with regular normal use and care of the product, for as long as the original end-user purchaser owns the product.

Proof of delivery is the only official document accepted by PVP Office Furniture for any claim. Consent from PVP Office Furniture must be obtained before any warranty work is performed. When repairing or replacing a defective product, we or our Furniture Manufacturer does not guarantee matching color, grain texture or dye lots. This warranty does not cover the cost of transportation or labor. Under no circumstances shall PVP Office Furniture be liable for accidental or consequential damages.

Warranty applies to following products (subject to the limitations):

  • Moving parts including slides, casters and locks are limited to 5 years
  • PVC extrusions and accessories – 5 years
  • All fabrics including tack-boards, panels & cushions are warranted for a period of 1 years after date of delivery
  • All power related products & components carry a 1 year warranty
  • All Chairs, Mechanisms, Pneumatic Cylinders, Fabric and leather carry a 1 year warranty (Normal use for seating is identified as the equivalent of a single shift (40 hours per week))

Above warranty applies to products bought after September 1, 2016.

Warranty does not apply to products:

  • That require repair due of normal wear and tear such as dents, scratches, improper maintenance, negligence, abuse, accident or if the product has been modified by someone other than PVP Office Furniture.
  • Discombobulation due to exposure to Indoor Light or Sunlight.
  • Light bulbs and ballasts are not covered by this warranty
  • A product will not be considered defective, and Seller will not be obligated to replace it, if the product is not installed properly or is used in a “nonstandard” fashion. It is at the sole discretion of PVP Office Furniture to make a determination if a defect is due to improper product installation.
  • Seller PVP Office Furniture shall not be liable under any circumstances for consequential, economic, or incidental damages of any nature, including without limitations, damages for personal injury or damages to property.
  • Marks, scars, or wrinkles occurring naturally in leather.
  • Damage caused by carrier in transit, damage caused by transport of product from one site or location to another, misuse and alteration to the product.
  • Product that is being used for rental purposes.

Warranty Claim Procedure:

  • All warranty claims must be authorized by PVP Office Furniture prior to approval. 
  • Claims can be directed to PVP Office Furniture’s warranty & replacement officer by contacting +1-647-298-5061 or by emailing claims@pvpofficefurniture.com. 
  • Claims must include original order number, as well as a description of return request. 
  • PVP Office Furniture reserves the right to investigate any of the above mentioned exceptions, request digital photos of the product in question, as well as proof of original ownership prior to warranty approval.

Care and maintenance:

-LAMINATES-

Dust laminated surfaces off prior to cleaning. Wet a damp cloth with water, a mild soap or one of our approved cleaning products. Do no use abrasive cleaners as they may scratch or affect the surface appearance. Wipe the surface with the grain using a dry soft cloth.

Approved products: Glass Plus® , Dawn® , Pledge® , Mr Clean® or Windex®

Take note that any product with Hydrochloric, Sulfuric, or Phosphoric acid may permanently damage the surface.

-ACRYLIC TILES AND PANELS-

Dust regularly to keep surfaces free of dust particles. Clean any dirt or stain with a damp cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners or window cleaners as it may alter or permanently affect the surface appearance.

-TEMPERED GLASS-

Wipe tempered glass with a mild soap and lukewarm water. Use a clean soft cloth, applying only light pressure. Rinse with clean water and dry by blotting with a damp cloth or towel.

-EDGE TRIM-

To remove minor scuff marks and general dirt from bases and connectors, use warm water and a soft cloth. Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners, as they may cause permanent scratches on the surface.

-PAINTED METALS-

Clean these products, use a damp cloth, using only a small amount of lukewarm water if necessary. To avoid scratching and damaging the painted surface use a dry soft cloth to wipe dry

Construction and General Notes:

-TOPS-

Casegoods are made from TFL high-performance commercial grade thermofused laminate (45 lbs/ft3) in 1” and 1.5” thickness. All units are finished on both sides with thermofused laminate, offering premium quality abrasion and stain resistant surfaces. All components are finished with a 2mm polymer edge-banding.

-MODESTY PANELS-

Modesty panels come in two standard heights full and 3/4 (10” from the floor with levelers). You can modify the height of most modesty panels from 8”-28”. Please speak with customer service or sales for more information. 3/4 Modesty panels are standard on BF pedestal units. Full modesty panels are standard on BBF, BBFF, FF, FFF pedestal units.

-SIDE PANELS-

Side panels are the full depth of the surface unless specified. Half side panels are always 12”(For 30″ or less deep Tops). Side panels include height adjustable floor levelers and are edged on the bottom for additional strength and to seal out moisture.

-DRAWERS-

Drawers are constructed from 1/2” black laminate. 5 Piece independent construction Pencil tray is standard in one box drawer pedestal All drawers are mounted on 100 lbs (45kgs) full suspension slides. File pedestals file letter front to back and legal side to side. Lateral file units file letter front to back and legal side to side. Interlock systems are standard for all lateral and vertical files units above two high.

-GROMMETS-

Grommets are 2.5” and come with a black PVC insert. Other sizes are available on a per request basis. Please speak with customer service for more information.

-LEVELERS-

Levelers are standard on all products except for mobile units and upper storage units. Levelers adjust from 3/8th to 1 3/8th.

-LOCKS-

Locks come standard on all product except for hutch and overhead units. Master, core and additional locks and keys are available in our accessory section.

-ASSEMBLY-

All products ships fully assembled with the exception of table and connecting tops. We do not make any product knocked down.

-ORDERING INFORMATION-

All Orders which require a drawing (That are Custom units and units that are not listed in our website) cannot be processed until a approved factory drawing has been produced and signed off on. Changes to orders or drawings are only permitted within 5 days of ordering. Changes will result in charges and a new completion date.

-HANDLES-

We offer several handle and knob styles in various finishes. There is no up charge for any of our handles (Charges will apply to those handles bought separately). Please specify your style and finish on your purchase order. Please refer to our website or literature for the most up to date selection. If no handle is specified we will automatically use the straight pull silver handle.

-EDGES-

Contrasting edges are available at no up charge. If you wish to order a contrasting edge, please specify the edge finish on your purchase order. To order the imperial edge, please specify “Imperial Edge” and the finish on your order. If this is not specified, you will automatically receive our standard flat edge. There is no up charge for either edge profile (imperial or straight). Please refer to our website or literature for the most up to date selection and to view what finishes are available in imperial edge.

-ORDER CHANGES-

Any changes to an order must be received in writing no later than 24 hours following our receipt of the original purchase order. Any changes to the original order after 24 hours, if approved, will be subject to production rescheduling and associated costs in the event that production is already underway. Products purchased directly from our online store are not subject to any change.

-ORDER CANCELLATION-

Cancellations must be requested in writing no later than 24 hours after receipt of the original order and are subject to approval by PVP Office Furniture. Cancellations cannot be accepted otherwise. A cancellation charge may be applied for manufacturing and order processing expenses. Products purchased directly from our online store are not subject to cancellation.

-ORDER ACKNOWLEDGMENTS-

Orders will be acknowledged by PVP Office Furniture within 48-72 hours of receipt of a clean order. Orders will be produced from the acknowledgement. PVP Office Furniture will not be responsible for any errors. The date on the acknowledgement is the production completion date. Orders may be picked up the next day after the completion date. For orders being shipped, transit time is in addition.

-RETURNS-

No returns will be accepted on any PVP Office Furniture products.

-STORAGE-

In the event the purchaser requests postponement of delivery / pick up beyond the acknowledgement completion date, PVP Office Furniture may transfer the goods to storage for the purchaser after 5 business days at the purchaser’s risk and expense. Such transfer to storage shall be deemed delivery to purchaser for all purposes including invoicing and payment. Storage fees will be incurred 5 days after the order is ready for shipment. The storage rate shall be as follows: $50 per day up to a maximum of $250 per week.

-PACKAGING-

PVP Office Furniture’s products are shipped fully assembled. All glides, handles and doors are professionally factory installed. Our product is packaged in shrink wrap and cardboard protectors. Our packaging methods have been designed to minimize packaging waste and reduce installation costs.
